Residence / Work Permit

Nationals of certain countries such as the US, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, have a privileged status in German immigration law:

They may enter Germany without a visa. They may submit their application for a residence permit from within Germany and they generally have access to the German labour market – as long as no equally qualified German or EEA citizen can be found for the vacancy in question.

Additional residence permit categories exist for senior executives, researchers, academically trained specialists, highly specialised experts, intra-company-transferees, artists, journalists, etc.

In almost all cases, we can provide suitable solutions for expatriates destined to work in Germany.
